Oil Mill Oil Extraction Process

The oil content of rice bran is about 16-20%, so it belongs to low content oil. The best way for it is rice bran oil solvent extraction way. By using oil solvent extraction way, the oil residues of the final meal can reduce to less than 1%.The consumption of solvents is 3-5kg/T.

For the rice bran oil solvent extraction machine, there are four main sections.

1) Oil extractor section. This section will use solvent (n-hexane) to extract the oil in the rice bran. After this section, two kinds of products have been got. One is cake with solvent, the other one is mixed oil (solvent and rice bran oil).
2) Separating of cake and solvent section. The main equipment in this section is toaster. The popular toaster is DTDC now. This machine will separate the cake and the solvent. Then the cake can be packed to sell.The temperature of toaster is about 130℃

3) Separating of mix oil. The main equipment in this section is 1st evaporator, 2nd evaporator and stripping tower. After separating in these three sections, the solvent is separated from the rice bran oil completely.The temperature of 1st  and 2nd evaporator is about 95℃and 110℃. The temperature of the stripping tower is about 130℃.

4) Solvent recycling section. The solvent from the toaster and stripping tower will be recycled by the condensers. Then the solvent can be used again.

Rice bran oil solvent extraction machine uses the newest technology. If you need the automatic machine, it can be controlled by PLC.The rice bran oil solvent extraction machine can be used to extract crude oil from the rice bran. It’s better to pre-treat the rice bran first.
